Is there a TV Station at UCD?

<p>Does anyone know if there is a tv station at UCD my highschool offers a newshow for the students on campus. I plan to continue this activity at the college level so does anyone know if it exists and how do you get into it (restricted by major?) </p>

<p>I know theres a radio station for sure how do you apply to become involved with it? </p>

<p>Any details would be good</p>

<p>From reading the article that is exactly how it looks. They are currently determing the site. Sounds like you might be able to get in on the ground floor which could be quite exciting and great for your resume.</p>

<p>My d’s roomie works for the radio station (freshman get the bad shifts) but she loves it. There are also opportunities in broadcasting through sports.</p>

<p>I just emailed the student run TV station about their future and future staff openings.</p>

<p>and i also emailed KDVS for volunteer oppourtunities to work up to that sports broadcaster position :D</p>

<p>You might also want to look into volunteer positions available with the Aggie Pack. Sorry I don’t know too much about the ACUSD but you might try searching it on my.ucdavis.edu. I’m sure once you are on the campus you will find out a lot more. I also suggest involvement with the greek system. It gives a social person like you a great network. Good luck to you! Being an Aggie is awesome and you sound like the perfect UCD student.</p>
