So, I am finishing up my bachelors in Computer Science at Ole Miss and planning on going to graduate school in the same field. MIT’s open resources have been a huge help to me in regards to preparing for math classes. The quality is just excellent and the teachers are awesome.
The reason I ask this particular question is because I am very interested in Social Psychology. I want to take a curriculum of open source classes on the subject while I am still focusing on Computer Science.

So, if I was to apply to a graduate program in Psychology in the future, how could I prove to admissions that I grasped the concepts I’ve learned with MIT’s resources? There aren’t any grades and nothing is added to you transcript. I think a quality open source education can be very valuable, given the student has above average self-motivation and a passion for the subject. I am just not aware of ways to prove that you have learned through something concrete like a final exam, where if you are caught cheating, you will fail.
