Is there a website?

That shows comparable ACT scores for 8th graders? I know there is the national site but that only displays scores based on high school seniors? Thanks.

There’s no need to know where your 8th grader stands in relation to others on the ACT, because the only reason for an 8th grader to take an ACT is that he or she is applying to a summer program that requires it.

No I understand that but he sees where he relates compared to high school seniors but is interested in knowing where he compares to others in his grade. The Duke TIP does it for 7th graders but he can’t find anything else. Thanks.

The tiny subset of 8th graders who take the ACT is not a good indicator of where he stands in relation to others in his grade.

You know already that he’s in the top whatever for his grade if he’s contemplating or competitive for Duke TIP. You don’t really need any more info than that, other than to stroke egos.

Again…not stroking any egos. I didn’t post his score. He simply asked if there was a way to see scores compared to other 8th graders who took the test. They do it for HS and 7th graders. I know there were 4 others at his site that were 8th grade also taking the test. Knowing how you stack up vs hs seniors doesn’t really help much.

If you are really curious, you could call or email Duke TIP and/or the ACT. I’ve gotten similar data from the data wing of CollegeBoard about 8th grade AP test scores.

Thanks…worth a try at least.

Found one…thanks.
