Ive been playing basketball since i was very young, when i came into high school my first year i had anemia (which i did not know of at the time) which resulted in me getting cut from the basketball team. Anemia + depression of getting cut made it difficult to keep up in class and my GPA at the end of my sophomore year was 2.4. I discovered my anemia problem mid way through sophomore year and got treated and started feeling much better. I played on an AAU travel basketball team that spring and ended up getting a scholarship to play basketball at a private catholic school. Of course my goal is to get a college education and compete at the collegiate level. But as im looking into colleges id like to go too, the more i become worried because my GPA is horrendous compared to most average admissions. Going into junior year is there any way I can raise my GPA to a respectable point by my senior year that will help me get there?

Just do your best. Study hard, and make sure to also prepare for your SAT’s and ACT’s. At least know that you gave it your all junior year and end that year with no regrets.

Take what I say with a grain of salt though, I am only 16 and a rising senior.

By the way, could you chance me back? I would really appreciate it! ^_^

Well, do the math. Figure out your schools way of determining GPA and figure it out. If you have X GPA to start with, play around with the numbers and see what grade you’ll need in the classes you have left to get to your desired GPA.
