<p>Is there any point in taking the Math II test if you scored an 800 in the Math SAT section?</p>

<p>Yes. Particularly if you want to apply to engineering schools, where Math II is almost a necessary component of your application. Plus, it appears as if you’ll do well.</p>

<p>Thanks. I don’t plan on applying to engineering schools or entering any math field really, but I’ll still take the test and just retake the SAT in the fall unless anyone else advises against it.</p>

<p>You clearly have phenomenal mathematical skills as evidenced by your score, why not do well on the SAT II to give another outlet to flaunt your talent to colleges?</p>
