<p>If im considering a school and im going to visit. What reasons are there to meet with an admissions offer? because i feel like that’s a thing people do, and how would you set up a meeting? thanks in advance</p>
<p>Check their CDS or their admissions website to see if an interview is something they consider in their admissions process. If so, then definitely do it. If not, you can still do it if you think that there’s some information you can get from a face-to-face meeting. It’s a chance to get all those questions you might ask on CC answered in person by someone who has your file in front of them and knows the college inside and out.</p>
<p>If nothing else, it puts a face with a name for the admissions officer. Even if it’s not required, it is still a good experience assuming that you go to the interview prepared with questions that can’t be answered by just visiting the website.</p>
<p>Also, taking the time to interview indicates that you have a high level of interest in that particular school. Small schools especially look for interviews, so if you are looking at some of the smaller LACs you should consider that as well.</p>
