Is there anything else I can do?

Hello! I go to a small private school and I was wondering with the following material if there is anything else I can do to help prepare me for college and/or help with getting into college, particularly Penn State. As stated, with all my classes (but math, it goes to Calculus in my school) I’ve taken the highest level offered.
I will be a junior next year.
Also, side note, I plan on majoring in either Biomedical or Immunology and Infectious Diseases.
Thank you so much for the advice!! =)

You absolutely, 100%, must improve you fundamental mathematics ability. You will not survive in an engineering major, at any school, with a 530 level math ability. Your grades and course load suggests you are a bright person. Spend some time really learning the math concepts. You have plenty of time to get your score up to at least 650.

There are a number of good HS math review books out there. I don’t mean SAT specific study guides. Your math score indicates that you really need to get a better understanding of Algebra and number rules before you worry about test prep. Unfortunately I can’t find the name of some of the better books at the moment. Maybe some people in the SAT prep section might have some suggestions.

I won’t be doing engineering. That would probably kill me. I plan on going into the Biological sciences. But yes, my math skills do need some refining. I’m not super terrible in math class (low As and Bs) but I understand it needs to be worked on. On the SAT math, I found it to be a lot of Geometry, which I haven’t taken yet. (I plan to this year).

You said biomedical - that is an engineering sub major.

Sorry, that’s a typo on my part. Biology. However, I really want to major in Immunology and Infectious Diseases if I get in.
I’m sorry for the confusion there :/

Besides my weakness in math, should I be working or trying anything else? Thank you :)

Youll need math for IID too. You need Math 140 and 141, which are 2 of the most difficult classes in the school, especially as you’re supposed to take them as a first year student

Well, any math books you can recommend? My Algebra 1 background was rather weak in 9th. The teacher who taught it was not the best to say the least.

The concepts from Algebra should know the same way you know addition and subtraction. They need to be that automatic. I’ve heard good thing about the Khan academy videos online. Try starting there.

Alright  Thank you! Is there anything else that would be good? I’m considering doing duel enrollment for senior year.
