My friend took her SAT like 8 times… Is it better to keep trying for a score you want or to just study for the ACT? I know some schools require you to send all your scores, so I told my friend that repeatedly taking the SAT would look bad. But she said she just wouldn’t send the bad scores. I’m so confused and kind of worried for her. Would she get caught?
You really have diminishing returns after maybe 3 tries. It is a waste of time – spend those Saturdays studying for your next attempts instead. Only a few highly ranked schools require that all scores be sent, so your friend isn’t in trouble. Unless she is applying to that handful of schools, it won’t matter.
