<p>Hey I’m gonna be an incoming freshman this fall and am planning on playing intramural basketball but I heard there weren’t any women teams. Is this true?</p>
<p>I am pretty sure there are women’s teams. If you look on UCLA Recreation or IM Leagues they both list women’s independent teams, as well as co-rec.</p>
<p>My son played on a co-ed team for a coupld of years. They have all kinds of rules like the guys can’t shoot in the key, etc… He had a great time.</p>
<p>When I was there, there were womens’ teams for every sport, albeit attendance was much lower than the mens’. If there ever isn’t a womens’ league, you are free to join the mens’.</p>
