<p>You might be able to place into honors level courses instead of the regular ones (if they’re offered). You’ll have a score to show admissions officers. Also, you might change your mind in the future about retaking the courses (some classes are “weeders” and can adversely affect your GPA if you take them, or you’ll find that something doesn’t fit into your schedule, etc). Other than that I can’t think of anything else.</p>
