<p>“Yeah, business communications or speech communication. My brother in law is severely dyslexic, but is also pretty intelligent, so he majored in this to get any ole college degree. No math, <em>very little writing</em>, and lots of sitting around listening to the way people talk… I personally think that the major is a farce, but if you’re really that lazy, or desperate, go for it…”</p>

<p>majors/programs are structured differently based on college. at ucla, it’s hard to get into the communications major. that and there are definitely writing intensive upper division courses. it depends on the school, the competition to get into the major, and then the classes you choose to fulfill respective requirements.</p>
