Is this a decent practice SAT score for a 9th grader?

I just scored 1240 on a practice SAT. Not the best considering I took one in 8th grade and got 1290.

Anyways, I’m just wondering if it is a score that I should send to the schools I am applying to? I also need to reply to two AOs’ emails so I will just include it in there.

I’d say no to sending the score. They have everything they need. There is no incremental benefit.

Agreed. Also, if it was a practice test I don’t think they would care or even accept it? Schools only accept test scores from the test administrators.

@dogsmama1997 Yes I know, I wasn’t trying to use it as an official test since I already have the ISEE. Thanks though! I won’t send it

Sorry I wasn’t being as clear as I should be. I meant if it isn’t official I doubt it will affect admissions so I think you made the right choice. Just hurling extra stuff at AOs is probably not a good idea, better to send your strong succinct app and leave it at that!

Very good score! Last year as a freshman I was scoring around 1170-1190 on practice tests but I scored a 1420 on the August SAT as a sophomore—you’re definitely in a great spot.
