Is this a good Extra cirricular?

I’m a girl. My brother is an up and coming local artist. While I was in the 8th grade he purchased a home recording studio with Protools and all. I taught myself how to use the equipment and since the 10th grade a have recorded and digitally fixed all his songs. I write, produce and record some of them. Finally, I spend alot of time promoting his music on the we. Should I include this as an EC or not? I wanna major in Acting.

Is it a meaningful activity? Do you spend a fair amount of time doing it? If the answers are yes (and I’m guessing they are), write it down!

YES.
put it down

Of course it’s an EC and a very interesting and creative one. And if you have written some of these songs (I assume you mean lyrics and/or music), I’d submit a demo with a few of your best ones. Just be clear that you were the songwriter and producer, not the performer. I also assume that to do this well, you are a musician too?

Very interesting, but a few things to consider.

Say I love to garden, groom my dog, play tennis, bike, or do photography. If I bought really expensive stuff and started at age 10, does that make me stand out? Not really, its considered just a hobby.

BUT, if it pertains to your future careers, or something really big came out of it, or you can justify its importance and what you learned, put it down.

EDIT: Just read you’re an acting major. HECK YES put it DOWN!
