Is this a good idea to write about for Macaulay Essay?

The first essay prompt for the essay asks us to evaluate a significant risk that we took and discuss its impact on us.

My idea could be risky but I was thinking of writing a time where I stole money and discussing how it had and still has an impact on me such as how I’m “scared” to take money now, etc etc or possibly how it impacted the change that I went through… This isn’t the average “I stole money and learned my lesson”, type of essay. The risk that I took (stealing money) did in fact change me in ways that go beyond lesson learning. i feel that I could pull off a great essay with this.

Thoughts?

OR another idea I could talk about is the summer where my grandma had to go to china for some family emergency and it was up to me to take care of my 4-5 year old cousin. (uncle would work late everyday). Is this considered a risk?

Uhh I don’t think you should talk about something like stealing. Doesn’t look good at all.
