Is this a good program?

So I got a 1840 on my psat. I knew this wasn’t a good score so I purchased the SAT blue book with this plan to prepare for the June SAT. I took the first practice test in the book and got a 1870 this time. My goal is to take a practice test ( there are 10 in the blue book) every other week. I can learn from my mistakes, learn the vocab that I did not know, and continue supplemental reading from the book. I expect a higher score each time I Take the practice test. My schedule will allow me to take 10 practice tests by the real SAT. And if I do not like my score still, I will take it Fall of senior year.

IS this a good plan? It will take approximately 6 hours a week. If not what else should I do? Read more articles book as well? SAT Tutoring? I want to do this independent as I feel like I can work alone and preform well in school.

Thoughts?

The blue book is great, but the SAT online course from collegeboard was even more helpful for me. There are lessons and quizzes specific to whatever your weaknesses are and it includes additional practice tests. (It’s $70)

If you really put that much time in, I’m sure you’ll be pleased with your scores. Also, be sure to study vocab!
