Is this a good start?

Hey guys,

So today I took my first practice ACT test and I got a composite score of 25. First, I was wondering if this is a good start if I want to score somewhere around 32 or 33. Second, is the writing score factored in the composite score?

Thanks guys!!!

It’s hard to say – depends on a number of factors including when the actual test is, how motivated you are to prepare, and how much of the material you already know. The writing score isn’t factored into the composite score.

Keep practicing! just keep taking practice tests, there should be a total of 9 legit ones. One tip is to take your test and time yourself early. For example the english its 45 mins, for practice take the english test in 40 mins.

No, writing doesn’t affect your composite score. But you will get 2 extra sets of scores, English+writing and writing.

Ok thanks everyone!!! I will work hard to get where I want to be!!!

Keep it up! i feel barron and the red book is best! good luck
