<p>Im thinking about writing when i moved to North America from Russia and how school and stuff is so different. Im also gonna say that in Russia they just emphasized about schoolwork, there were no sports or clubs or anything, and how i like schools here better because its not just about work. Do you think this is a good thing to write about?</p>
<p>how long ago did you emigrate from Russia? If it was recently, I think its a great idea to write about it! especially because you can include the kinds of activities you’d like to pursue at UF that you never had a chance to enjoy before. however, if you moved to america before you began high school, the impact may not seem as significant in your essay.</p>
<p>i moved after i finished 1st grade in Russia. It still impacted me greatly, as I was a very different person then that I am now. I still remember my classroom and my teacher and the schoolwork when I used to live there. So I can still provide a lot of detail about how school and life was so different there.</p>
<p>You can definitely write about that, though it might be better to write about something more recent.</p>
