<p>Is this a good unweighted GPA?
Im a Junior in high school the first semester i got an UNWEIGHTED GPA of 3.61 is this good??

Honors precalc
Honors spanish 3
Honors physics
English
AP statistics</p>

colorado university boulder and u of illinois urbana</p>

<p>For the colleges that you are looking at that GPA should be average. Usually, (if you go to the college admission website of your college) they give you detailed information about the average hs gpa for the entering. I see a couple of AP classes, so that shows your classes were a bit rigorous. Colleges like to see upward trends, so if you can keep bolstering your GPA, I’m sure you’ll do fine.</p>

<p>However, what is your overall unweighted GPA? I think they only consider the overall GPA, not just the GPA for your Junior year.</p>

<p>UW’s average gpa is a little higher than that (you’re near the bottom of the average admittance range. 3.76 is the middle last I heard). But either way, you’re taking hard classes so it probably wont matter too much.</p>
