<p>I don’t know if this means anything but here is my story –
My oldest son applied to Notre dame last year - We filled out all of the financial forms online and that was it - no further request was made to us to provide additional information. He was waitlisted and then was accepted at the end of May. That was when the University asked for the additional financial information.
Now this year - my second oldest son(I have 5 boys, 2 girls!) applied to Notre Dame - and once again, we fillled out all of the information online - and just today, he received a letter from the Financial Aid Office asking for more detailed information.<br>
Any thoughts??
His stats are as follows:
SATs 1540 (2230)
ACTs 34
GPA 4.61 (W)
3.87 (UW)
Rank School doesn’t rank but I would guess top 3-4% of his class(class
size is about 700 - school size is 2700.
National Merit Finalist, National Honor Society, Cum Laude Society, AP Scholar
ECs Captain for Track and Cross Country teams, MVP Cross Country last
3 years, etc and has won many academic awards and leadership
positions</p>
<p>Last year, letters were sent out on Thursday, March 29th and my son received his letter on Saturday, March 31st(lives in Illinois).</p>
