Is this a realistic goal?

My SAT score this March was 1960, (620 CR, 690 Math, 650 Writing). I believe that my low CR and W scores are due to lack of vocabulary knowledge and lack of common grammar concepts. I’m usually a great math student (90+ grades in AP Calc) so I think I have the potential to score a 750+ in math if I practice a lot. I am retaking in June and hope to get at least 2100+. Are these good choices for the 5 books I’m going to buy?

BB: Self-explanatory
Direct Hits: Both volumes, core and toughest, to improve my CR score
Gruber: All purpose book but getting it mainly for the math
Barron: All purpose book but once again, getting it mainly for the math

I feel like Gruber and Barron will cover writing adequately enough that I won’t need to buy a writing oriented book. It’s pretty much just knowing commonly tested grammer concepts.

So do you think I can reach my goal is I commit a lot of time to studying? Would you recommend other books in place of these (don’t want to spend too much $)?

Skimming your post, yes, it is. I started scoring in the 1700s and I now break 2k, got a 2040 on march and i just started prepping…

Totally realistic. Vocabulary takes longer to learn than grammar rules (and there are lots of vocab words) so your time might be better spent focusing on upping sections besides vocab. Vocab doesn’t count for a ton of points, so unless you did extremely poorly on that section then I wouldn’t practice it too much.
