Is this a ridiculously risky opening to my essay?

<p>Can I pm anyone the first 130-ish words? </p>

<p>I was told to be completely honest…and the honest truth is that I never even considered Northwestern until after the end of my junior year when my guidance counselor (who is also a family friend) sort of pushed me to visit. And when I did, I liked it a lot. So this is sort of an opening to the “What specific qualities about the school…?” essay. </p>
