Is this a 'rigorous' enough courseload?

For the top uni’s?

Day 1:
IB Spanish AB (Beg.) (SL) 11
IB Geography (HL) 11
IB English (HL) 11
IB Math Methods (SL) 11

Day 2:
IB Chemisrty (HL) 11
IB TOK 11
IB Biology (SL) 12
IB Physics (SL) 11

I’m doing IB too, and as long as these are the hardest courses (which it looks like they are) you’re in great shape! Are you full IB? Also, is the math course the highest you can take?? At my school IB Math Studies is the lowest, the IB SL Math, then IB Math HL

How are you able to take three sciences? I was under the impression that you could only take two for the diploma program.

/this could screw me over.

the third one’s part of my electives, I really don’t know anything about the grouping, but I think I remember one of my friends saying it’s group 6. Then again, it may be something I just made up

EDIT: And no, that isn’t the hardest I can take. I think IB History is harder than geography, and my language is only a beginner level (dropped french because I sucked at it, want a fresh start)

bio, chem and physucks all in one day…i’d have no motivation to go to school every second day haha. good luck.

Damn. My school does NOT have that many IB classes. Our only math classes are IB Calc and Math Studies (12th grade classes)… and IB Geography!? What is that!?

Plus we only have 7 periods. XP.

Wait, so you’re not taking a history class??? that could look really bad

i am doing IB too. Frankly, it jut doesn’t help… good luck w/ three sciences man…ure courseload looks tough. :P

I’m doing diploma…

I had a choice of either geography or history… I chose geography

I don’t know about math, I think our school just offers that one course

bio, chem and physucks all in one day…i’d have no motivation to go to school every second day haha. good luck.

my motivation is the chance of getting into the top universities :D

Is physics really THAT hard?

yes vadox6466, physics is probably the hardest IB (out of the first five regions, not including the arts). but the thing is, he/she is doing physics SL, which is not as bad as HL. HL asks u questions from astrophysics and quantum mechanics and stuff. lets just say that u have to know how to do vectors in space in relation to planets. O_o. :P

woah…

BTW, those are my courses  And my school, unfortunately, doesn’t offer any other HL courses other than the ones I have

i’m doing HL Physics!! is it THAT hard??? now i’m scared! i got an A in IB Physics 1, is that any kind of predictor for how i’ll do in HL??

don’t worry, LizzieE, im doing HL Physics too…just get the IB prep book and you will be fine. don’t expect a 7, though.

what % does your mark have to be at to get a 7? Aroun 98?

our school doesnt even have IB courses (prob because im in canada hahahaha…:S )

well Ib is international, so I don’t think being in Canada is the reason! not all schools have Ib – only about 7 out of 20something high schools in my county do.

I have to drive to a school out of my school disrict for IB
