For the essay: Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you.

Can I spin the college application process into a significant experience I’ve gone through? Or will it be looked down upon by the admissions people since I haven’t technically gone completely past it yet?

i won’t go with the college application process as your topic, though i had the same thoughts many times. Why? because everyone goes through this self-examination process. Its best if you find something else from your life and write about it. (and obviously do it fast lol)

^ I personally find it impossible to fake the significance of something that has happened to me. I think the admission officers can feel insincerity. Anyway, I ended up having a formal and rather impersonal essay.
