Is this acceptable UC Essay Topic!!!

<p>Okay so the 2010 UC Prompt is</p>

<p>Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.</p>

<p>I was wondering if it would be on topic if I write about my experience as a kid going around my community looking at buildings which inspired me to become an architect/structural engineer.</p>

<p>Is this ideas still on topic</p>

<p>that would be acceptable, albeit a little cliched. adcoms don’t want to read retreads of the same topic over and over from some amateur clouseaux. If you can’t think of anything a bit more imaginative than “omg i saw a cool building i wanna be an architect” then you had better make sure that your writing itself is topnotch and tells a unique story instead of being an amateurish reputation.</p>
