Alright so in the October ACT w/ writing I got a 31 comp
32 English
33 Math
30 Reading
27 Science

And my combine English/writing is a 29…
Essay was an 8

The problem is that my first ACT I made a 32 composite with
27 English
33 Math
33 Reading
34 Science

Should I retake it? I feel that a 31 is not good enough for schools such as Berekely, WashU, Vanderbilt, etc…

Yeah, it’s good! Check if your schools superscore, bc you’ve got a 33 superscored! here’s a list: <a href=“http://prepmatters.com/sites/default/files/pdf/Top%20Colleges%20-%209-29-11.pdf[/url] ”>http://prepmatters.com/sites/default/files/pdf/Top%20Colleges%20-%209-29-11.pdf
;

If you feel like you can do better than a 32 (like, you did better on most practice tests or feel that it doesn’t match your true potential), then retake! If not, then don’t worry about it!

Yes - that is a good ACT for above average schools. Congrats!

Thanks for the website!
Also since the website is for 2011, do you think it still applies to today?

I don’t know…just to be safe, you should retake for at least a 32!
