I was planning on writing about photography for the intellectually engaging essay. I sell stock photography on the internet, and it’s something that makes you think of photography as a game of logistics and compromise. So I wanted to talk about the logistical/business side to photography, but I don’t know if by “intellectually engaging” they want something more specific to my intended major (engineering).

Any suggestions/ideas? Did any Stanford students write about something that wasn’t intrinsically “intellectual”?
