IS this an adequate teacher rec??

<p>I dont know if i was expecting to much from my advanced english teacher when she wrote my rec, but it seemed surprisingly short. I could just be out of the loop on what the average reccomendation is like but tell me what you think.</p>

<p>**** was a wonderful student in my advanced creative writing class. He was always very humble about his abilities which were exceptional. In partner/ group situation, **** always did well because of his positive attitude, patience, and organization. He pushed himself to do well on all assignments and finished the semester in th top 10% of the class.
**** will do equally well in college because of his desire to succeed.</p>

<p>This just seemed kind of short to me, am i just paranoid? The teacher rec also has a personal qualities checklist where you rank the student, excpetional, outstanding, above average, and avergae. The categories include motivation,academic potential, extracurricular involvement, impact on others,leadership, interaction with groups, character and integrity, responsibility, and independence. She ranked me with 5 outstandings and 4 above average scores. Is this an adequate teacher rec that will be viewed very positively?</p>

<p>haha if you were trying to conceal your identity, try and be a bit more careful next time.</p>

<p>hmmm i wonder if this is adequate. it looks good to me, but might it not be a little too general?</p>

<p>I think that’s a good rec. The only problem is it is very general-there aren’t any real personal details or stories…“I remember when xxx was able to organize a great group project”, etc. I wouldn’t take it too personally-and you can’t change it anyway.</p>
