My engineering classes were generally much harder than Wharton

nah that book was written to focus on the most colorful / extreme characters available

it’s not really that crazy

also the wharton experience isn’t completely different than the engineering or college experience… the author makes it sound like a totally different life when in actuality all it is is taking a different trend of classes mixed with perhaps a few out of class activities that other students might not partake in…

that’s what i heard too… i mean, that those majoring in engineer generally have it tougher than the wharton kids

Is Wharton have the cutthroat competition between students that this article says? No.
Do Wharton students have time to hangout and to party? Yes.
How hard does a Wharton student study in comparison to those in other undergrad sections of Penn? Engineering is harder, and Wharton could probably be considered harder than the College, but that’s more because of the curve rather than actual difficulty of the material. Plus, the college is way too large so it’s hard to generalize.

In summary, the sole objective of the article is to be exciting for the reader and to impress. It’s way too colorful, so don’t take it too seriously.
