Is this Bad?

Ok so overall I got a 2150 on this October SAT.
I would be happy about this score, but I’m not sure if I should be.
My previous score was 1980 with 690 in Reading, 650 in Math, and 640 in Writing.

My subscores on this were:
Reading: 700
Math: 660
Writing: 790

I want to know, do colleges look at the 2150, or do they focus more on individual subscores.
I know writing is the least important, but on ranges on schools average SAT, I’m now in range for most.
Am I really in range? Or is my score sort of skewed?
If you know anything about how these schools look at it, that would help too, Im trying to gage whether I should take it in november instead of SAT IIs which I need to apply for Columbia and Penn.

Schools:
Boston College, Notre Dame, Washington and Lee, Wake Forest, McGill, Columbia, Penn, UVA
Thank you so much, it’d be a real help.
I know Notre Dame looks at Writing separately.

2150 isn’t a bad score, although your reading and math score combined is 1360 you still have a chance at those schools. I knew someone who had a 2350+ on the SAT and got rejected to columbia because of the essay. So I think you should not focus on the SAT I anymore and instead work on your college application, the recommendations, essays, and extracurriculars. Everyone who applies to ivies will obviously have a 2100+ but not everyone gets in because colleges want to know what you can offer and how the college is right for you.

P.S. you can still retake the SAT I December or Jan if you are really bothered by your scores, but your scores are lovely and you shouldn’t feel stressed about them.

Wow! Thank you so much! I guess I’ll take the tests in December and January, but I won’t freak out about it. I think I can squeeze out 50-80 more points. Can’t hurt.
I’ll focus on essays too. Notre Dame is my first choice over Columbia.
I founded the Business and Career Club at my school, I’m a vice president in Spanish Club, member of French Club, 2 years of School soccer, National Honor Society member, Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. I think this is a good amount of Extra-curriculars. I’m in 5 AP classes spread out over all subjects (Composition, Comparative Politics, Physics, Statistics, Calculus) and Honors Spanish 4. My GPA is high as well. I’ve had a few jobs during the summer and school year.

Thank you so much! I’ll focus on Math and Reading next time I take it gman!
