Is this book really effective?

I would like to know if this book is really of any use
SAT Prep Black Book: The Most Effective SAT Strategies Ever Published Paperback – March 14, 2013 by Mike Barett

I have not personally used it, however, I heard that it is really good and effective. Are you using the official blue book too?

I think its excellent for describing an effective method of viewing both questions and answers so that the test taker can understand where the test writers are coming from and therefore what answers are most likely to be correct / incorrect

Its CR methods are probably the best of the widely available approaches.
