<p>I don’t have any friends in Santa Cruz but I really want to go to school there. I live 8 hours away but I wanted to move to SC and go to the community college there and do the TAG program so I can be guaranted a spot in UCSC.</p>
<p>Why not go to your local cc and then transfer? Make friends once you get there.</p>
