I applied to a bunch of different programs (about six so far) and I did not get into any of them and I’m really disappointed.

But I found out about this one internship that is totally perfect but Im sure that the only way I can even apply is that I have to say that I found out about it through my GC.

As to what exactly to say I’ll find out but is this going too far to get something I want so badly?

Well, I’d certainly ask your guidance counselour first.

Oops! I meant that im supposed to find out through my GC but she knows nothing about the internship though or do any of the GCs at my school since I found out about it online.

Yeah i should have specified that.

Confusing… I can’t think of a reason why an internship would require that you find out about it thru the GC, unless you need to GC to recommend you for it. In that case, email your GC a link and ask if they will recommend you.

You probably also need to make some backup plans for the summer, as it is getting late to find internships or programs. Volunteer in something you are interested in, sign up for a class if you can, etc.
