<p>I’m in 12th grade. I plan to major in biology or pre med, and if I can major in marine biology or sciences.
My top choices are University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Northeastern University, and U of Rhode Island.
I just got my dec. SAT which was a 1600: 500 reading, 540 math, 560 writing.
I’ve been on varsity crew for the past 2 years, played jv soccer in 9th grade, and played varsity football in 12th.
GPA:3.16
Do I have a chance of going to these schools?</p>

<p>I also plan on rowing in college too, im not sure if that makes a difference.</p>
<p>If you have talked to rowing coaches and they are interested in you, then they can really help get you in. Otherwise, not really.</p>
<p>I think it makes a difference, but not enough to make up for the scores kind of thing. If your GPA was higher than it would probably make more of a difference. And yes, Michigan will probably be a reach for you.</p>
