Is this good news for those applying for CSU in 2012?

Approved 470million dollar in extra funding for CSU’s to increase enrollment growth 2012-2013?

Well its ironic because the schools say that they do not have money that is why the tuition gets raised, waiting a year to get a class because the class is already full, yet they say they are going to increase enrollment. My opinion is that it is going to be a disaster at csu campuses.

CSU Trustees asking for increased funding is meaningless. Only Governor Brown can approve additional funding for the CSU and he is much more likely to make further massive cuts than approve more state funding for the CSU system. A number of CSU campuses will probably have to be closed down to free up funds to keep UC Merced afloat.

Why are we keeping UC Merced alive? If no one wants to go there, why don’t we just pay for homeless people to go there? :derp:
