Where I live, University of Akron is a huge, great school. They contacted me personally, with a non-automated message, and replied when I responded. I have also had the University of Dayton contact me as well. These all have been non-automated messages and s this a good thing? I have a 3.5 GPA (steadily rising), a sophomore, in 3 honors classes, and more. Next year I’m taking AP and honors classes. Also, I decided to do ACT prep next year and do Latin 4 my senior year. Would getting more and more ACT prep be beneficial to my scores?
I would not read too much into it as these are often marketing tools to increase applications. But you do seem qualified for these schools so if you are interested in pursuing the dialogue you should.
Nobody can tell you if additional ACT prep will help your scores. But it is certainly worth studying for standardized tests…
