Is this person able to submit a Teacher evaluation?

<p>There’s this one teacher I’ve been close with for about 3 years now, since my sophomore year. I’m in the school band and the band director hired him as a “Percussion Teacher/Coach”. He comes everyday when band has an after school practice (so if there is practice after school on Monday, he’ll show up Mondays during class and practice). This semester, he started to teach a class after schools on Tuesdays and Fridays. </p>

<p>I could just receive a Teacher Evaluation from my band director, although I feel my percussion teacher knows much more about me.</p>

<p>If not, it’s not a good idea to use a music teacher for your teacher evaluation.</p>

<p>Further, you’ll need to check to see whether the schools you’re applying require a teacher in an academic subject, and what they define as an academic subject.</p>

<p>Many schools also require that you have had a class with the teacher that evaluates you sometime during your junior year.</p>
