<p>There is one girl i know that said that she has already been accepted by UGA, thats all fine and dandy u may think but the problem is she is a junior and she said she was accepted last year when she was Sopmore, she calls it early admission. She is hispanic and she has a 2200 SAT score but still come one you cant get accepted that early can you. You have to be Senior right?</p>

<p>I think some schools have early admission if you have completed all the requirements to get your high school diploma a year early (basically graduating high school early). However, I’ve only heard of it for juniors.</p>

<p>Some state schools have special programs to boost minority and low income enrollments. They enroll minority students in special programs in high school. They then guarantee them admission to the university IF they meet certain criteria by the time the graduate. It is possible that your friend is in one of these programs and feels assured of her admission because she is confident that she will meet all the criteria.</p>

<p>I know that this happens at our state flagship. Don’t know if other states do the same thing.</p>
