i got a terrible score at 6 Dec .
CR:510 Math:730 WR:520
this is my first time taking it and i don’t really have time to do it again
i am a international students and i am applying these:
University of Maryland Baltimore County
U of Pittsburgh
Drexel University
U of Delaware
University of Maryland College Park
i known my score is really bad ,can anyone give me any info that if i am qualified at any of these schools?

For most of those schools, your CR and WR are lower than average, but your Math score is higher. So while you’re not an automatic in, you are qualified. You’ve got a shot. I’m honestly not too familiar with these schools though.

I think it depends on which country you are from… if you are Asian, it probably would be harder to get in

Hey, I’m actually in the DMV region myself. Word around here is that University of Maryland College Park has become increasingly more difficult to get into, and your status as an international applicant does not make things much easier =

As for the others, I think you have a pretty decent chance, as long as your extracurriculars/GPA can balance things out.

What about Baltimore County ? i am afraid of not being accepted by any of these,
i am top tenth of my school and GPA is above 3.5 or something and i do think my essay not too bad, does this score seriously affected my admission?
thanks, anyway i kept worrying since my score out

any more? thanks

have you taken the TOEFL? that could help make up for your lower CR and writing scores.

I think you’re in.

Btw people, please answer me can a composite score of 1300 on the SAT (CR560-M740) ever make up for a 90 on the TOEFL (26-22-20-22)? :(

RSVP. Thanks

i did my toefl 94
thanks!
i am getting confident

anyone can answer my question:

???

It’s good that you have taken the TOEFL b/c College Park requires non-native english speakers (regardless of citizenship) to take either the TOEFL or IELTS. And yes I think you have a pretty good chance of getting into Baltimore County if the other parts of your application offset your SAT.
