The first question asks if you could be at an historic event, which even would I choose. I chose the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Any facts/opinions, please?

What is the reason you chose this specific event? If the reasoning is legit then I see no reason why you couldn’t write about it.

This is where it gets controversial. I chose it because many people don’t believe that Jesus Christ actually existed. They don’t believe that this man died for our sins. I don’t wanna get religious about it or anything, but…see, I dunno, lol. I just think of it as a little too controversial, but I’m willing to stick with it as a topic answer

I think most people believe that Christ existed, but some don’t believe that he was the Messiah and the son of God. I think they judge the essays more on how you present your argument too, so if your essay is well written you should be okay.

especially since they’re not a catholic school, i think if you can back up your statement, then you’ll be good. but you’ll need some solid reasons to back that up.

I bet a lot of people are choosing to write about JC. When they ask questions like the ones they are, they expect controversy. I’m guessing when people start talking about some of their strong opinions it brings out who they really are and gives the adcomms a better view of the applicant.
