“I would thrive as Ive always been great at adapting to situations.”

It is not a good sentence, and it lacks necessary punctuation. “as” is not the word you want.

is “as” grammatically correct or wrong?

thrive is the verb or adjective here? once you figure that out youll see ‘as I’ doesn’t fit afterwards.

the tense changes are illogical or just not consistent throughout the setence

thrive is a verb

so how would one correct this sentence to be grammatically correct?

Not sure how to correct it if it were an identifying sentence errors as it stands

but if it was improving sentences, I’d reform the sentence entirely and take out the redudancy.

“I would thrive as Ive always been great at… (Verb)”

I would revise it as ‘I thrive at adapting to situations’. I’d overhaul it

Improving sentences, they like to be concise and to the point. But of course, there has to be parallels between adjectives describing subjects but as you said thrive is a verb.

The sentence is grammatically correct.
