So far through 3 years of high school, I have yet to get a B in any class for any quarter of the school year, let alone semester or year. If some are confused, each semester is divided into 2 quarters so there are 4 quarters a year. Is that an accomplishment worth putting on my application or does every other person applying to an elite school have that accomplishment, also would I just sound arrogant on an application for putting that, I mean it does take a degree of work to maintain those kinds of grades regardless of school and rigor.

If you deliberately mentioned it, I imagine it would sound rather snobbish. If it showed itself on your transcript, that would be nice, but probably wouldn’t brag about it to colleges. You should have more important accomplishments to talk about anyway, such as ECs and all that.

Don’t mention things they will note on your transcript.

How big of an accomplishment it is depends on your school. If you go to Exeter where that happens a couple of times each decade it’s quite a feat, if many do this at your school yearly, it isn’t.

well it won’t show on my transcript since transcripts only show year grades, not the grades within a year. Yeah I figured it would sound snobbish, at my school it an accomplishment to some degree, in that only me and one other person have done it in my class.

It’s not snobbish, just irrelevant. Being val will say it all.

This is actually pretty common.

Did u get any A-'s?

I think like a good 90%+ of ivy kids have the same accomplishment…
A- = 3.7 ish
A = 4.00

average accepted GPA is 3.8+ ish

so… the math will do the rest.

yeah, dont put it. if you got an academic award, throw that in, but dont mention it. they’ll see for themselves. trust me

Well sadly the race to be valedictorian was over freshman year since one of the kids in my school was a year ahead in math and latin so his GPA will pretty much always be 2 classes ahead of mine, regardless I have a different question now.

Does Collegeboard send anything if you are a National AP scholar, i have 6 5’s and 1 3 (french), and is this something worth mentioning?

Unfortunately National AP scholar is:

But you did get AP Scholar with distinction.

AP Scholar with Distinction
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
