Is this too cliche as an answer for my supplement essay.

It is the supplement essay for George Washington and the question is…You are invited to dinner with George Washington during which you will have the opportunity to discuss any topic. What questions will you ask him and what do you hope to learn? Would addressing an actual political topic he addressed during his time be too cliche?

Depends on the political topic. Instead of doing that, try to be more innovative and ask him about how to be a good leader and how to make the most out of your life.
