Is this too much student-loan debt for a parent?

I think they are both wanting to be elected to be president so they can be rich like Bill and Hilary.

That thought crossed my mind; that accumulating a lot of debt might seem reasonable if there are good prospects for a big influx of income in a few years to pay it off.

Aren’t they both governors of a state? Maybe they are getting paid enough.

It’s really not unusual for a state politician to be in debt. They fund their own campaigns. Wisconsin has very strict lobbying and campaign laws, so it is hard for people who aren’t Herb Kohl to run for office.

I know the Clintons were in debt going into the White House, and the Obamas had some debt too, even though Mrs O was highly paid.

I couldn’t care less about his debt. Not my business. I am sure he will have no trouble paying off the student loans or the cc debt.
