Is this too pushy? (teacher rec question)

I’ve already asked 2 teachers and my baseball coach to write me letters of recommendation, and am giving them each a package including a thank-you note, schools I’m applying to, list of ec’s, volunteer work, academic awards, my transcript, and some brief info on what is valued in a teacher rec to U.S. top colleges (I live in Canada, and I don’t believe rec letters are necessary for most Canadian universities, so I thought this would help).
However, I can’t help but worry that my teachers, probably having not written too many rec letters, may not write letters that would truly help me in the admissions process.
While researching how to get good rec letters, I found this video which seems extremely helpful: [Insider’s Guide to Writing a Great Letter of Recommendation - YouTube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpZI8GQVOlo)

Would it be too pushy or possibly even rude to ask my recommenders to watch this video? I don’t want to ask too much, since they really aren’t even obliged to do this for me.

How about giving them this link instead?:

[Writing Recommendations | MIT Admissions](How to write good letters of recommendation | MIT Admissions)

You can just say it might help them understand what US colleges are looking for in LORs and leave it at that, they could skim it and read it if interested, which they can’t do with a video.

That seems like a great article to summarize everything. I think I’ll go with that. Thanks a lot!
