<p>the topic is about a challenging moment i had in my life, and i was thinking of talking bout my parents divorce that almost happened. is this a good enough topic to write about. again they didnt divorce but they were real close to.</p>

<p>monocle is right. The topic isn't so much what matters, it's the way you write it. If the event meant a lot to you, it's a good topic. The challenge is to convey how it affected/strengthened you.</p>
