The school I want to attend is Cornell. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t really have a chance however, Cornell has a "relationship " with our school and admits a sizeable portion of our applicants. What are my chances and how strong is my transcript. ( my test grades are superfluous).

What do you mean your “test scores are superfluous” and why? Lol test scores are one of the more important parts of the application, anyway. Your grades show improvement, so it might be better to have some insight on some non academic components of your transcript, too. There’s very little to work with here.

^I disagree. Compared to recs, grades, EC’s, and essays I would say test scores matter the least.

Well I think this student would really benefit from high test scores, because his/her grades are a little wonky. Your freshman year grades show you are slightly above average, while your other grades are excellent. So no, I don’t think your test scores are superfluous in THIS case.

The reason why this user has such “excellent” grades sophomore and junior year, yet all B’s freshman year is because those grades are made up. As can be seen in the user’s other post, he is still a sophomore.

There is no point asking people if a made up transcript is solid. Get those grades first, then come back.
