Hi,

I’m a student at JHU, and unfortunately, I didn’t do very well this past school year, my freshman year. However, don’t get me wrong, I’m a stellar student (as I was able to get in) and had some personal obstacles to deal with in addition to academics. I’m now thinking of applying to another college (specifically Ivy), and to be honest, I don’t really want to tell them how poorly I did at JHU. Do I absolutely have to put down this information? What ramifications are there if I don’t?

Any general advice would also be appreciated.
