So I went into a church, and I’m not Christian, I’m Muslim, but I go anyway, because I like God from all faiths. Everyone is praying and stuff, and I’m praying to God, saying thank you so much for my blessings, my health, my family, etc. He has blessed us so many times that I began getting watery eyes as I prayed, I literally almost cried because of it. In Islam, God likes it when you thank him, and your heart is what he cares for. Everyone was praying to Jesus, singing about the blood, while I was almost in tears for thanking God so much for what he’s doing in our lives and all the health he gave me. It’s difficult to get detailed but in a nutshell I was almost crying because at the Mosque I just thank God so much too. Now it was in a church.

Weird in what sense? Weird in the sense that you are praying and crying to a god that there is no evidence actually exists and for all you know could be man made? If that is the case then yes I guess it would be quite weird.

On the other hand if you mean crying in a church, tons of people do it, although I do not know why exactly.

Wait, are you in America?
I’m surprised you haven’t been arrested under suspicion of terrorism yet.

Are you guys freaking kidding me?

imrightuarewrong, you will amount to nothing (not even “will amount to”, but more like “are”)
CRYSOMEMORE, I can’t tell if you’re being obnoxious or sarcastic, but either way, you aren’t being very helpful.

Show some respect. I can’t believe how intolerant you two are. Freaking ■■■■■■■■.

of course what you did isn’t wierd… just because you are in a different faith than where you go to church it is no different than praying in your home… what really matters is that you care enough to actually pray and thank God for what he does for you… thats more than a lot of people in this world… keep it up :)

Is this some sort of joke? Religion is open to criticism just like anything else. If he would have said he was crying because he was so happy he doesn’t live with any black people and never has to interact with them, then you would probably call him a racist and wouldn’t say “show some respect”, so please don’t be so hypocritical.

Religion doesn’t deserve any more respect than anything else just because it’s religion. And I like how you judge me right after saying “show some respect”, chock another one up to hypocrisy.

Lol, coming from a fellow muslim, I’d advise you to stay away from churches it’s evident that shaytaan and jin are trying to lure you. Well, it’s not like we don’t believe it Jesus, we just don’t think that he’s God’s son.

Cowbell, your neighborhood sucked because of poverty, not race.

Allah is God. Therefore, your response is normal.

We Christians are the same as Muslims, aside from doctrinal differences, among them that Christ is God.

Look at that, he got banned.

^ who got banned?

Thank you spr, I appreciate it. And jazrie, how can it be Satan luring me into something ‘evil?’

God bless you, baller4lyfe.

^Is that sarcastic?

Anyone else want to comment?

Well in case ‘weird’ is defined by social norms - probably yes, you don’t see Muslims crying in churches all that often.

I’m not a practicing Muslim, its just my background, I am culturally so. And I pray every now and then, so don’t mistake me for a devout one. Plus I’m American and its just my background which I acknowledge.
