Is UC Davis TAG binding?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I have a tag with UC Davis.
It wants me to check a box next to the words:
“I certify with this digital signature that I have read and agree to fulfill the UC Davis TAG contract. (Please respond by November 30, 2009).”</p>

<p>If I check this box, will I be forced to go UC Davis even if I get accepted to UC Berkeley?!?</p>

<p>I believe the TAG is not binding. The certifying is probably just to agree that you will follow what must be done to fulfill the TAG, but you can go anywhere you want, you’ll just be guaranteed admissions at Davis.</p>

<p>Thanks ktwish101, but I want a solid confirmation because if “digitally” signing this TAG jeopardizes my admission to other UCs that would be really bad.</p>

<p>Of course not. You can have TAG’s with more than one UC. ktwish101 was correct… you’re guaranteed admission. It’s not binding at all.</p>
