MY story here:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/587440-i-need-help-uci-ucla-ucb-usc.html

So basically if i go to UCI , i will be in their 3-2 accelerated program in which i would also acquire my MBA within 3 years of transferring.

I see that UCI isnt ranked in the top 20 but they are ranked in the top 50 for Undergrad and for their MBA.

Am i really shooting myself in the foot acquiring both my MBA and BA from Irvine?

What if I pursue my PhD? then would it really matter? A good freind of mine told me to go to UCI, no matter if i get into Berkeley, or UCLA, get my MBA faster and cheaper, then go get a second Grad degree from UCB or UCLA in economics b/c it is always about the last college you attend…

what do you guys think? I just dont want to handicap myself in finding jobs, with the economy today, globalization, and the fact that UCI isnt well known even in the states(Lets say like east coast)

thanks!
